Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

We have a white boxer, Hank. Hank has had the privilege of living with some senior pups and learning the ropes. However, he has lost two of his best friends/siblings within a year. Hank was so upset and we just couldn’t get him out of his funk. This is where I found Danielle of Silver Rain and her new babes. Ozzy (formerly known as Rocky) caught my eye immediately. We are so happy with our puppy Koa from Silver Rain!! Dannielle made this whole process a joy. We loved getting regular updates and photos. She answered all our questions so quickly. She got us connected with the transport process that was best for our lil guy and worked for us from Nashville to California. One of our biggest concerns was finding a well-balanced, healthy boxer puppy who would fit in with our household. We have an older boxer and 2 grandkids who live with us and we work from home. Koa is so well balanced. He has been a dream to potty train. He was going to the back door within the first week. Now 3 weeks in he is sleeping in his crate all night and potty trained. What an amazing experience! I was a bit nervous because after years of adopting rescue older dogs, this was my first pup in forever. I had concerns about breeder conditions, but these guys were so supportive and addressed my concerns. Now I have an amazing, and very healthy pup who has been so easy to house train.
