Meet the breeder

I'm Sarah K., the breeder behind Spotted Ewe ACDs located in Pierpont, OH. ACDs raised in my home on a working sheep farm in NE Ohio. They compete in sport and show, help with farm and shearing work, assist in my dog training business, and live as stable, versatile family companions.

Q. & A. with Sarah

  • Why did you start breeding?

I never planned on breeding but when I got my first well-bred dog and saw what a difference it was from poorly bred dogs I saw on a daily basis I knew I had to let other people experience the same thing. Everyone deserves to have a once in a lifetime dog like her!
  • What makes your program special?

I have owned well-bred Australian Cattle Dogs for the past six years and have been actively involved in the dog world for over sixteen years. As a professional dog trainer, I place a strong emphasis on stable temperaments, clear minds, and versatility. My dogs not only excel in sports and work but also help me train other dogs, which requires sound nerves, biddability, and excellent social skills.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
