Meet the breeder

I'm Leah J. H., the breeder behind The Gentle Cavalier located in Tremonton, UT. I'm Leah J. the breeder of "The Gentle Cavalier" located in Northern Utah. I am dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding practices to continue produce healthy and happy cavaliers. I adore this breed and will do all that I can to match you to the perfect pup!

Q. & A. with Leah J.

  • Why did you start breeding?

Deciding to breed happened when I was buying a puppy. One of the forms I filled out asked if I intended to spayed/neutered the dog. A feeling of peace came over me as I thought of having the chance to learn such a tender art, and so I decided to just go ahead and buy breeding rights too, just in case. Two years later, and I am so ready for this adventure and the healthy, beautiful pups to come!
  • What makes your program special?

I do not have a "breeding program" as I have not started an official business, as yet. What I do have is training experience and a love of dogs! Along with a deep desire to place every puppy in just the right family!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are blenheim. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
