Thomason Puppy Love

Meet the breeder

I'm Melody T., the breeder behind Thomason Puppy Love located in Angelina County, TX. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! We started breeding with the simple mission to breed the very best dogs that we can, to raise them with love, and to find them the perfect future homes.

Q. & A. with Melody

  • Why did you start breeding?

Aussies are thinkers. They're problem solvers and love having a job to do. They keeps us on your toes and makes training super rewarding. We actually started with breeding labs 15 years ago. My boys are now in 4H and show our females in the State 4H show every year.
  • What makes your program special?

Aussies have awesome agility, herding, and obedience skills. There’s something really satisfying about raising a dog that wants to work and please. Our puppies are VERY loving and affectionate.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Australian Shepherd puppies are red tri-color. Labrador Retriever puppies are chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
