Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Thornbush located in New Mexico. We are committed to staying connected to our puppy families throughout their lifetimes to ensure they never feel alone and can raise their new, furry companion with confidence and joy. We are experienced breeders. We’re careful to breed and raise our pups with only the best policies. The quality of our dogs reflects the conscious decisions we make throughout every part of the breeding process.

Q. & A. with Marcia

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started breeding after I bought my first "show" collie, I had the best mentors, people who guided me and encouraged best practices, and I am so thankful for them! "Graduating" from collies to Australian Cattle Dogs, I so respect the ACD breeders who have made it possible for me to have my own small part in preserving this wonderful, smart, happy, funny breed!
  • What makes your program special?

Sires and dams are carefully chosen from bloodlines that complement each other, dogs with great temperament and "heart"!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
