Meet the breeder

I'm Steve & Linda R., the breeder behind Timshell Farm Specialty Crossbreed Puppies located in Fredericksburg, OH. We raise healthy, happy, adorable CavaPooChon, Cavachon and Petite Golden Cava-Doodle puppies for loving families. Lower to no-shedding coats, teddy-bear faces and loving hearts. Timshell created specialty triple-cross breeds, CavaPooChon and Golden Cava-Doodle! Beautiful, healthy puppies!

Q. & A. with Steve & Linda

  • Why did you start breeding?

We love dogs and always have! Started in Texas on 13 acre, organic pecan orchard. Steve built our pole-barn house. We raised and shipped out 150 dozen Monarch butterflies weekly, and raised/sold live, potted Christmas trees. Golden CavaDoodles and CavaPooChons became our life! Teamed with Andrew & Arlene Hershberger, Fredericksburg, OH to continue CavaPooChons and Petite Golden CavaDoodles.
  • What makes your program special?

Triple-cross breeding infuses the best qualities of the Cavalier, Bichon and Poodle (CavaPooChon) and the Golden Retriever, Cavalier and Poodle (Petite Golden Cava-Doodles) Widening the gene pool with 3 separate breeds brings diversity - greatly minimizing risk for genetic faults. Parent dogs tested for genetic issues. Puppies are well socialized and love humans as well as other dogs.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Goldendoodle puppies include apricot, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

I had such a great experience with Linda and Steve!! From the start, they were kind, communicative, and genuinely caring. They answered all my questions, kept me updated throughout the entire process, and made sure I felt fully supported. It’s clear they put so much love and attention into everything they do. My pup is thriving, and I’m so thankful to them for making this such a positive and memorable experience. I’d wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.
