I'm Jennifer P., the breeder behind Tin Roof Australian Cattle Dogs located in Escondido, CA. I breed for a biddable temperament, health, and soundness. Tin Roof puppies/dogs compete in conformation shows, nose work trials, barn-hunt trials, herding, and being a best friend in anything I like to do. I raise the most enriched and well socialized puppies, and they are raised inside the home.

Love is still searching for her forever home. 🥰

I have yet to find a home that will be suitable for “Love”. I don’t mind! She’s smart as a whip and sweet. If you are looking for an easy going ACD puppy, that is funny, beautiful, genetically unaffected by any of the diseases ACD’s get. Too much to list! I’m just going to go play with her.

Love is learning more and more each day. We practiced our leash walking, playing with adult dogs, and practicing our “sit” and “down” plus “touch”. Let’s not forget the snuggles! She leaps in my lap when she’s tired and wants to cuddle. 💖

About Gavin
This dog…! Where do I even begin? There is not enough room to say everything. Gavin is such a special dog. He is great with kids, planes, trains, and everything else as he is my service dog. He has kept me living! I enjoy showing him, loving him, and looking at him. He has a golden retriever temperament which is not quite to breed standard, but I sure appreciate it. He puts a wonderful temperament on his offspring. Of course they all need to be trained properly for the best possible outcome as an adult. He is a ACDCA National Specialty NOHS Top 20 WINNER! 🥇 (2024) Gavin was the ACDCGLA NOHS Best in Specialty Show (2025). He has multiple group placements, multiple NOHS group placements, and more. Among the numerous show wins, being ranked in the top twenty (NOHS/ACD), and servicing me; Gavin is a Nosework dog. He has accomplished several titles in AKC scent work; Novice (SWN), Advanced (SWA) Excellent buried (SBE), Master container (SCM), and we are working on the last leg of excellent interior and exterior. I am also a member of NACSW (National Association of Canine Scent Work), and we have been able to get into a couple of trials. Gavin has achieved his ORT (odor recognition test x 3) and NW1 (1st level). Finding rats is not really his gig, but playing ball, frisbee, or chasing the ladies is his jive. If you get a chance to meet Gavin, you will understand why it is hard to put his personality down on paper. He is truly one of a kind! Bred by Mandy Peniston of Royal ACDs, who imported Gavin’s father “Risk” from Italy. Risk has proven to be an extremely nice producer of several BISS, GCH, CH, and several sports titles amongst his kids.

About Squisita
Squizzie whizzie whooooo! That is what describes Squisita. She is such a happy-go-lucky soul. She laughs and smiles all of the time. I imported Squis from the Monte Tonico Kennels in Italy.🇮🇹 She was 4 months old when she arrived, and happy as could be! She was awarded Winner’s B- at the all breed show during the ACDCGLA regional specialty in 2022. Squisita has been started on odor for nose work, and we will be trying some other sports as well. The pedigree is amazing, including the health testing results. Squisita’s OFA hip score is “Excellent”. Both her dam & sire have the equivalent of an excellent score in Italy. Squiz is clear for PRA/PLL. I am so excited to see what she will produce.

About MOXIE
Moxie is a hot rod. She is fast, competitive, and beautiful! She is sassy (moxie) as a confident woman should be. Haha She is a finished international champion and AKC Champion. She also has almost completed her novice scent work title. She has accomplished her DCAT in fast cat. Anything and everything I ask of moxie she willingly, puts her every ounce of effort into it for me. Well, it is actually for the treat payment she gets for searching and complying with whatever training we are doing. Smart smart smart! She got this part form her mother willow. On the muscle, running hot, fresh, or whatever terminology you choose, Ferrari sums her up.
Good health testing

About Willow
Willow is an amazing partner! She has drive like no other, and she loves everything we try to do. She is very competitive if I could just keep up. She is the smartest dog in so many scenarios. It is incredible. She never stops amazing me. She is protective, and weary of strangers as a ACD should be. She knows when we are in public at an event, and she is approachable and friendly. Willow is an incredible mother. She is truly amazing. We have been truly blessed with such an amazing member of our family. We enjoy producing healthy, good minded, sound bodied, well adjusted puppies to share with you.
