Meet the breeder

I'm Kyle P., the breeder behind Tried & True Labradors located in Eva, AL. Our dogs are bred with health as the priority. We make sure each dog passes their health tests before we plan a breeding. With a goal to improve the breed and our personal lines, we are driven to use dogs who meet AKC breed standards and have the perfect temperament for a family environment.

Q. & A. with Kyle

  • Why did you start breeding?

After extensive research and solidifying a goal to better the breed, we felt we were ready to launch our own program. Making sure to put the health and safety of our dogs first is at the core of Tried and True. We really value the connections we form with our buyers and love to continue to watch our puppies grow up through their eyes. We love our dogs so much and hope you do too!
  • What makes your program special?

Maintaining responsible breeding practices is crucial to the success of our program and the happiness of our dogs. Every pairing is done with intent to improve our lines and contribute quality dogs to the breed itself. Each puppy is handled with love and care to ensure positive experiences from day one. It's important our puppies are well socialized and ready to transition into their new home.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in a kennel on my property.

Kyle was very communicative during the puppy purchase process. We could not be happier with our Baby Jim. He is so laid back and sweet.
