Meet the breeder

I'm Tamarind T., the breeder behind Truax Farms located in Hopkins, MI. Our program is focused on breeding Boxers that are healthy, well-structured, and have outstanding temperaments. We have high expectations for our puppies and strive to place each one in an enriching and loving home! Let's see if one of our puppies is right for you!

Q. & A. with Tamarind

  • Why did you start breeding?

We both grew up on farms. My family breed and showed Arabian horses and Rottweilers. My husband grew up on a dairy and cash crop farm. We fell in love with Boxers 10 years ago but ran into alot of poorly bred dogs with health issues. We wanted to change that and improve the quality and life of our dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies go home with an excellent foundation already started making the transition into their new home go more smoothly. We start crate training and grooming right away. All our dogs live in our home and are well rounded and socialized with people, animals, noises.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
