I'm Nicole V., the breeder behind Vandalo Boxers located in Glennville, GA. Our dogs are selected based on temperament, conformation, and health clearances in their lines. The puppies we have are suitable for both the show ring, as well as just being a family companion. We strive to uphold the European conformity of the Boxer.
Q. & A. with Nicole
Why did you start breeding?
We are a breeding family! My good friend is a rescuer, and she had given us our very first Boxer. We fell in love. We later rescued a companion for her, and they were the best of friends. After a few years, and many vet visits, we knew our girls were not the best-bred Boxers. A myriad of health issues for both of them. That is when we decided to seek the best-bred Boxers, and provide other families with them as well!
What makes your program special?
We take the time and effort to give each puppy, the most attention possible! All our dogs are family pets, and we try to do the same with the puppies so that they are well loved before they leave our home.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Vandalo Boxers reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Boxers.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
