I'm Danielle P., the breeder behind Vom Haus Bradford located in Mastic Beach, NY. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Growing up we adopted a 9 month old German Shepherd that was born with Severe Bilateral Hip Dysplasia and later in life he had a genetic disease called Degenerative Mylopathy. Both of this conditions are preventable with health testing. I grew up with a rottie mix and my cousin had purebred rottweilers. I fell in love with the breed and we've had them ever since.

  • What makes your program special?

    I strive on producing a well balanced rottweiler with a sound mind and correct structure. I'm trying to preserve breed standard and produce healthier dogs. Our pups are handled from day 1, are around our children and we work on early socialization, we work hard to place the puppies in the correct homes.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and mahogany and black and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Hereditary Footpad Hyperkeratosis, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), X-Linked Myotubular Myopathy, Neuroaxonal Dystrophy NAD, Leukoencephalomyelopathy (LEMP), Juvenile Laryngeal Paralysis & Polyneuropathy (JLPP)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
