Tahlia R.

Breeder of American Corgis

Meet the breeder

I'm Tahlia R., the breeder behind Will-O-Wisp Corgis located in Lehigh Acres, FL. We love to responsibly raise and train American Corgis so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. American Corgis are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated to achieving genetically sound and temperament-tested puppies that will be the perfect family pets, and we love to raise puppies and prepare them for their forever homes.

Q. & A. with Tahlia

  • Why did you start breeding?

Growing up, my mother bred AKC Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Working Rottweilers. I've grown up helping her whelp litters and finally found a breed I'm passionate about and truly love. That's how I got into breeding American Corgis.
  • What makes your program special?

I genetically test all dogs in my breeding program and only breed dogs that are of sound temperament. We also set our puppies up for success by starting litter-training and conditioning them to loud noises, other dogs, cats, small children, and other stimuli.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable merle and white, sable, blue merle and white, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
