Wookie Doodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Lisa B., the breeder behind Wookie Doodles located in Lanett, AL. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

Q. & A. with Lisa

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always had a love for little dogs. My last dog that I just adored was a 4 lb shih-tzu. I never could breed her cause she was so small. After we lost her we looked into getting my one of my all time favorite breeds, a cavalier king charles spaniel. Well we ended up with a cavachon, Leia. Breeding was not in my plans so I had her fixed. I loved Leia, but I also had been wanting a goldendoodle but a little one. After searching, I found Chewie, he was so unique and special that I decided to get all of his testing done so he could be used as a stud. He did so well and continues to thrive at this duty. Then I was looking around and realized, I could get my cavalier and breed her and chewie. This would make Golden Cavapoos! Not long after we got Rey, we saw the cutest black goldendoodle girl on fb being advertised and I couldnt stop thinking about her. That is how we ended up with #4, Vada. Plans for #5 was unheard of until I got it in my head we needed a backup for Chewie, and what would be better than to get one of his puppies to follow him in his studding career. That lead us to Solo, Chewie's boy! They are almost identical. Well that is our story and how we ended uo at 5. Yes, they all 5 sleep in our bed. They are worse than spoiled, just plain out rotten.
  • What makes your program special?

We love on the babies in our home just as if they are ours. We treat them and raise them like we want ours to be. We dont crate our dogs, but for the puppies to get used to being away from their siblings we crate them at 6.5 weeks at night to get them ready for the furever family. There is plenty of playtime together during the day.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Goldendoodle puppies are petite size. Assorted Doodle Crosses puppies are petite size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies are ruby. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
