York River Farm

Christi B.

Breeder of Boxers

Meet the breeder

I'm Christi B., the breeder behind York River Farm located in West Point, VA. We want to grow happy, healthy, well-mannered Boxer puppies for other loving families. We are passionate about the health and wellbeing of this breed, and we want our program to be an example of how to responsibly breed quality pups. Our program is built with love and respect for Boxers in every step. It has been such a fulfilling journey!

Q. & A. with Christi

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our first Boxer, Lucy Goosey, was a rescue from our local shelter. She became such an integral part of our family and truly changed how our child with autism communicated with the world. She died far too early from cancer. Boxers are loyal protectors of their family, but sadly, sometimes their health takes them away too soon. We want to grow happy, healthy, well-mannered Boxer puppies for other loving families.
  • What makes your program special?

We are small and each puppy is raised underfoot. We keep in touch with our puppy families and are always ready to help out.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
