Meet the breeder

I'm Glenna E., the breeder behind AAA Little City Shibas located in Pahrump, NV. We are a small show kennel that breeds to the AKC standard. The goal we set, and which we believe is still the most important, is to produce healthy puppies that make a well-rounded character in an adult dog. We strive to make sure every owner has the ability to get the very best out of their puppy.

Q. & A. with Glenna

  • Why did you start breeding?

I obtained my first show dog in 1978 and at that point, I had the show dog bug. I did not start breeding at that time but always knew that I wanted to show and breed dogs. I decided on the Shiba Inu breed when I was ready to hit the ring again. We breed to get our next show dog and sell happy healthy pups as pets along the way.
  • What makes your program special?

We work hard to educate the buyers of our puppies even before the puppies are even a twinkle in daddy's eye. They fill out an application and attend an in-person interview prior to being considered for our waiting list. We offer ongoing education and answer any questions for the lifetime of the dog.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
