Brookhaven Labradors

Sharlene P.

Breeder of Labrador Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Sharlene P., the breeder behind Brookhaven Labradors located in King George, VA. We offer quality over quantity ensuring we pick the correct sire and dam. We breed puppies from extensively health tested parents. All of our pups are raised in our home and are greatly loved by us. We take great pride in our pups and want to see them excel in their new homes.

Q. & A. with Sharlene

  • Why did you start breeding?

The Air Force took us many places but retirement has now afforded us the opportunity to follow our dreams. Our interest in Labs began when we lived in England from 1984 to 1988. We bred our first litter in 2004 and have never looked back.
  • What makes your program special?

Our focus is to breed multipurpose Labradors. We offer English Bloodlines bred for excellent temperament. Brookhaven Labs are tested for a myriad of genetic diseases too numerous to list. We believe that healthy pups come from healthy parents and healthy pedigrees.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
