I'm the breeder behind Buffalo Valley Breeders located in Buffalo Valley, TN. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

Getting a puppy from Dwight & Melody

Dwight & Melody has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $200 refundable deposit and between $550 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC registration/paperwork, veterinarian exam, first shots & assurance pups are on a bi-monthly deworming regimen. In the case of being able to provide requested puppies from future litters or in the case of medical hardship.”

    We welcomed our ACD in January into our family from Buffalo Valley Breeders and he has truly been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Toby is an extremely intelligent and amazing boy—equal parts sturdy, loyal, and mischievously funny. He’s adapted to every circumstance with resilience (and sometimes with a look that says, “Don’t worry, I’ve got this—just try to keep up, humans.”). Training with him has been a joy; he picks up commands quickly and is becoming a well-socialized little gentleman. Everywhere we go, people stop to compliment how handsome he is, and more often than not, they’re equally impressed with his good manners. It’s safe to say he’s stolen not just our hearts, but also the spotlight wherever he goes. Working with Dwight and Melody was an equally wonderful experience.     We drove down on short notice from Minnesota to meet our puppy, and Buffalo Valley immediately made us feel at home. They were responsive, welcoming, and it was clear how much they care for their animals. We first met our dog in their living room, then got to visit their other dogs including our dog’s dad Ace, which made the experience even more special. Now, a month later, our puppy is thriving. He’s full of personality and spunk; a very happy, healthy, smart, and incredibly affectionate dog. We’re so thankful he came from such a good start.
