“The price of the puppy includes the guaranteed, first vaccinations, microchip, AKC limited registration, UKC registration, puppy socialization, and lifetime breeder support. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of color, size or gender. The deposit holds gender of choice.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

+4We recently brought home our Black Lab puppy, Balto, from Cedar Mountain Retrievers, and working with Tyler and Tanine was an incredible experience from start to finish. Their communication was always timely, thoughtful, and helpful, and we could truly see how deeply they cared for Balto and the entire litter. Every interaction reflected how dedicated they are to raising healthy, well-socialized puppies who are set up for success. As fairly new dog owners, we especially appreciated how clearly they laid out Balto’s vaccine schedule and the different options we had for completing them. They provided detailed information and guidance on everything from nutrition to training—and it was all easy to understand and truly valuable whether you’re a first-time dog owner or someone who has had dogs before. One of the greatest benefits has been the 6-week puppy training they provided before Balto came home. It made such a difference for us—he adjusted seamlessly to our routines and we constantly receive compliments on how well-behaved he is, especially on walks. We are so grateful for the care, commitment, and knowledge Tyler and Tanine put into raising their puppies. +4Tanine and Tyler were great to work with from the moment we first engaged with them. Tanine was great at answering all our questions. I loved how much info Tanine shared before on recommendations and suggestions to make the first several months go smoothly, and what we should prepare for. Gunner has been a great addition to our family. Comparing other breeders Cedar Mountain hands down is who I would go through time and time again! Tanine and Tyler have been nothing short of amazing! When my fiancée and I were searching for a puppy and we came across Cedar Mountain Retrievers. We reached out for availability on their litter and we were matched with a puppy that fit our family perfectly. Everything Tanine and Tyler do is with care and love. From the moment we picked up our puppy, Riggins, I knew we made a great choice in choosing Cedar Mountain Retrievers. We have been in contact with them for questions/advice and they been accommodating and helpful with everything. Tanine and Tyler also have a training program that they do and it is great! They took Riggins in for 6 weeks and trained him on basic obedience and other things. They do an amazing job! It was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. With their training program it has given us the tools and knowledge to help Riggins be the best boy! One big take away was Riggins recall training. It’s giving us so much freedom with him and I know he’s safe and happy. If you are looking for a wonderful pup with people who care about their puppies past pick up, I wouldn’t look any further. Cedar Mountain does everything right and goes above and beyond for you and your puppy. I would recommend Cedar Mountain to anyone looking!
