I'm Jalynne C., the breeder behind Christensen Family Kennel located in Mount Pleasant, UT. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We got into breeding heelers because of Mick, my husband got him before we were married and he has been such a blessing in our lives. He has saved us from having to chase cattle, he is intelligent and has excellent herding instinct. He is the most gentle heeler I have ever been around. If it weren't for his awesome demeanor we wouldn't be breeding him.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program is to help improve your life, whether you are looking for a helpful farm hand, hunting dog, or a best friend we want to match you to the best puppy for you. All of our dogs are family first, they are all at different stages of training, and we hope to continue their training until they are fine tuned.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Australian Cattle Dog puppies include blue speckled, blue mottled, red mottled, red speckled, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Jalynne

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price includes ASDR registration for heelers, AKC registration for labs, first vaccines, microchip, and vet checks. The deposit is to hold your place I have made it a small fee so that you don't loose too much money if you decide to back out for any reason."

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cystinuria Type II-A, Australian Cattle Dog Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Myotonia Congenita, Australian Cattle Dog Type, Primary Lens Luxation (PLL), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 4 (PRA-crd4)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Jaylynne was amazing throughout the process! We bought 2 pups from her recent litter and both dogs came partially trained. Only problem I have is the fact she lives so far away and I think she just needs to move closer to me lol. I’m happy with the girls we got though both are smart and amazing in their own unique ways
