Meet the breeder

I'm Ashley P., the breeder behind Good Day Doodles located in Milton, NC. Dedicated to breeding healthy, home-raised Multigenerational Australian Labradoodles in North Carolina. Every parent is fully health tested, and each puppy is raised with love, socialization, and a focus on temperament and structure.

Q. & A. with Ashley

  • Why did you start breeding?

I began by assisting my mom with her first litter more than 13 years ago. What started as helping with one litter quickly became a lifelong calling. I was drawn to the Australian Labradoodle’s gentle nature, intelligence, and low-shedding coat — and I’ve spent the last decade refining our program to produce healthy, well-balanced companions for families across the country.
  • What makes your program special?

We are a family-run, home-based program in Milton, NC dedicated to raising authentic, multigenerational Australian Labradoodles from the finest bloodlines. Every puppy is whelped and hand-raised in our home or trusted guardian homes, receiving early socialization and temperament evaluation to ensure the best family match. Our Trained Puppy Program provides families with the option of bringing home a doodle that’s already crate-trained, leash-trained, and well-mannered at four months of age.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include caramel cream, caramel red, apricot, chocolate, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Phenomenal experience from the first conversation. Ashley was very responsive and answered a million questions I had. Her home is beautiful and the property is well-cared for. She clearly loves and respects her dogs. I was afraid of the "breeder" stories, but this could not have been more reassuring. And WINNIE! She is the absolute best, sweetest thing. She is loving, extremely smart, laid back, but yet playful and has settled into our home at lighting speed. Kudos to the breeder for the great genetics and the obviously loving environment she created during her initial 9 weeks before she came to her forever home. THANK YOU FOREVER ASHLEY!
