I'm Elsie G., the breeder behind Grimm Girls Farm located in Morrill, KS. We breed our dogs for health and temperement. We also focus on beauty and improving the breed. Our puppies are very socialized from day one and are very used to kids and other animals.
Q. & A. with Elsie
Why did you start breeding?
We have always loved animals especially dogs/puppies. We have always had rescue dogs growing up but we purchased our first registered pure bred dog in 2019 and decided to have puppies for the first time. We all fell in love with them and that is how we started and we have since grown in size and mostly in knowledge.
What makes your program special?
Every puppy is loved from the very beginning and socialized. We have lots of other animals so they are exposed to many different sights and sounds. We give a lot of farm tours and share our farm with the community so they are also exposed to lots of different people.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Dilute Retriever puppies include silver and charcoal. Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Golden Retriever puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
