Meet the breeder

I'm Bobbie K., the breeder behind Happy Tails Bichons located in Parkland, FL. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.

Q. & A. with Bobbie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have worked with the breed for over twelve years, and it was just a natural progression. I have had a few of my dogs work for Chewy print ads and video. I have trained in basic agility and would love to have one of my dogs compete in that as well. Currently, I compete my dog in confirmation.
  • What makes your program special?

I am a member of the AKC recognized Sunshine State Bichon Club of So Florida. I have access to educational programs designed specifically for our breed. I have also been very fortunate to have a close friend and mentor with over 40 years in the breed. My puppies besides being very pretty are well adjusted, smart and I start training as soon as they start showing signs of interest. Socially the puppies are exposed to other dogs in my home as well.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
