I'm Jimmy M., the breeder behind Lone Star Heelers located in Center Point, TX. As a retired military veteran our dogs have given me and my family lots of companionship, and love. Due to surgeries I have been experiencing due to my military service, they are always by my side through my recoveries. They love to chase tennis balls, rope toys etc. We want to do our part to produce even temperament , healthy dogs, that can bring other people happiness as well. We strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives. We have been breeding for about 9 years, took a short break due to personal medical and restarted our program once again. We have great bloodlines including, Cowco, Burnt Kerosene, Doc Holliday, Buzzard, Spader. A great friend (Buffalo Valley Breeders) has helped us with rejuvinating our program and providing our Dam Aphrodite.

What makes your program special?
We breed only a couple females at a time, we choose good animals with healthy backgrounds, quality genetics, and breed for temperament that will be good for household pets but will also go out and work a ranch all day long.

Getting a puppy from Jimmy

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jimmy partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $250 - $1,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes vet check, first rounds of vaccinations, wormings, etc. This is to hold the puppy of your choice. I generally don’t take deposits till around 4 weeks when you have a good idea of colors and markings.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Primary Lens Luxation (PLL), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
