I'm Maureen P., the breeder behind Lyricc Cavaliers located in Wisconsin. We hold ourselves to high standards for the integrity of our program. All of our puppies are socialized, nurtured, and loved! Our goal is to ensure every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves our care. We provide each of our pups with lots of socialization and love, and we are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding policies.

Why did you start breeding?
We started with a Cavalier for our youngest daughter to show in Juniors. I decided after taking her to handling classes and shows that I wanted a dog of my own to show. I was hooked!What makes your program special?
I am a small home based breeder. I have very few dogs. I breed when I want another dog to show. Not every litter will have what I am looking for. I want the best homes for my puppies because I am responsible for them being in this world. I make it clear to new owners that I will take a dog back or help them find a new home if they cannot keep it. I take my responsibility seriously.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Parent health testing
Good level

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
