Meet the breeder

I'm Maureen P., the breeder behind Lyricc Cavaliers located in Wisconsin. We hold ourselves to high standards for the integrity of our program. All of our puppies are socialized, nurtured, and loved! Our goal is to ensure every dog that comes from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves our care. We provide each of our pups with lots of socialization and love, and we are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding policies.

Q. & A. with Maureen

  • Why did you start breeding?

We started with a Cavalier for our youngest daughter to show in Juniors. I decided after taking her to handling classes and shows that I wanted a dog of my own to show. I was hooked!
  • What makes your program special?

I am a small home based breeder. I have very few dogs. I breed when I want another dog to show. Not every litter will have what I am looking for. I want the best homes for my puppies because I am responsible for them being in this world. I make it clear to new owners that I will take a dog back or help them find a new home if they cannot keep it. I take my responsibility seriously.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
