I'm Jennifer W., the breeder behind Pinewood Cavapoos located in Spokane, WA. Pinewood Cavapoos is a small, family-run operation specializing in happy, healthy Cavapoos. We didn't just jump on the breeding band wagon like lots of folks during the pandemic. We've been raising Cavapoos for 15 years! I hope you will see the difference and choose us for your next pup!
Q. & A. with Jennifer
Why did you start breeding?
Our first purebred Cavalier litter arrived in 2009, with our first Cavapoos arriving in 2010. Although I had raised and shown Shelties for years before this, this was the start of Pinewood Cavapoos. We love what we do raising and taking care of our pups.
What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised in our home with us; no exceptions. We are not a big “business”. It’s just my husband and I doing everything to raise amazing puppies. We do not have employees. My husband helps with clean up, building/maintenance, feeding, etc. I am the midwife, blog post/website writer, in charge of correspondence, vet appointments, puppy care, dog training, photography, etc. We do it all!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Poodle puppies are miniature size. Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, and black and tan. Poodle puppies include apricot, cream, red, and parti. Cavapoo puppies include tri-color, red, cream, blenheim, black and tan, black and white, and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
