I'm Paula S., the breeder behind Potomac Creek Labradors located in King George, VA. Home to two number one UKC Labradors, 2015, 2016, and 2018. We have been breeding for over 16 years and are now on our 5th generation. Many of our dogs are Certified Therapy Dogs and in service programs. We participate in shows and various performance events. Our dogs are family and stay with us for life!

Why did you start breeding?
When we were searching for our first Labrador after getting married we were very upset at the kennels that we visited. We knew that we could do better for the breed that we love!What makes your program special?
We specialize in breeding for service and therapy and strive to breed that all around great Labrador, at home and in the field.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Animal Genetics Panel, DNA Disease Panel, Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
