I'm Lindsay B., the breeder behind RedHorizon AKC Australian Cattle Dogs (Heelers) located in Scurry, TX. All puppies raised and loved in our home, and on our Homestead. We are dedicated to providing our buyers & puppies with a positive experience, that includes remaining committed to responsible breeding, raising and training practices.

Why did you start breeding?
Mesmerize by their high intelligence, and the desire to please/willingness to train. Throughout my life they've been part of family, from childhood through today. Ive always appreciated their desire to be by your side. My experiences soon became a passion. As a top breeder today the journey is both rewarding and purpose fulfilling.What makes your program special?
I take all measures and appropriate steps to provide healthy, well tempered, intelligent, beautiful pups. From our home and farm to yours. From the care and love the parents receive to the imprinting of love and affection the pups grow to know- I take pride in being a ACD perservation breeder who actually goes the extra mile.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red speckled, red mottled, blue speckled, blue mottled, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Lindsay has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Lindsay partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“AKC pre registration, 18 month health guarantee, Deworm; 4, 6, & 8 weeks. Age appropriate vaccines, thermal microchipped, vet health check up, flea/tick preventative, and lifetime breeder support. Deposit guarantees a puppy of choice and as agreed. The deposit is first come first serve and secures your place in line to have 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc pick of gender of that specific litter.”

Litter update on 05 Sept •…Girlee is doing an outstanding job; she is so gentle, easy going, relaxed and sure of herself. She does an amazingly job tending to her babies (and we tend to her 💕) Cleanliness, nutrition and love is paramount- our beloved mama’s are waited on hand and foot; it’s important they are supported and loved through the process- not only do they deserve the very best, but it transfers to the puppies, by ensuring a stress-free, clean and happy environment puppies can thrive and grow in.

Litter update on 02 Sept •…Girlee welcomed 7 beautiful babies on August 25th, and she has been an outstanding mother from the very beginning. She is healthy, happy, and completely devoted to caring for her little nuggets. Girlee also has some serious bragging rights when it comes to her previous litters. She produced Doja, who earned her Championship title in under a year—an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the quality she produces. Girlee consistently produces puppies with excellent health, structure, temperament, and beauty. She isn’t just a wonderful mother; she’s proving herself as an exceptional producer, too. ❤️🐾

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
