I'm Karyn R., the breeder behind Robinson Acres Doodles located in Graham, NC. We run a selective breeding program, focusing on the temperament and overall well-being & health of our dogs. We breed to produce top-quality, happy, healthy, non-shedding puppies with great family-oriented temperaments that will continue to thrive in their forever homes.
Q. & A. with Karyn
Why did you start breeding?
My husband's parents raised cocker spaniels when he was growing up & breeding has always been something we have had an interest in. After discovering I'd developed an allergy to dogs we knew we needed to look into low/no shedding F1B/multi-gen dogs. When we discovered the ALD Breed I knew I had to give other families with allergies the same opportunity to have a loyal, low to no shedding companion!
What makes your program special?
Most importantly our parents are raised in our home as our family PETS! We strive to maintain and also improve the quality/health of the breed through extensive genetic testing. We focus on temperaments. We start at day 3 with neurological stimulation and add in desensitization thru various sounds & textures. Our puppies are well socialized & we will have started their crate training for you!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include caramel ice, caramel cream, caramel, caramel red, apricot, cream, chalk, chocolate, cafe, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
