Sherry S.

Breeder of Labrador Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Sherry S., the breeder behind Southfork Labradors located in Pound, VA. We breed English-style Yellow (white in color) AKC Labrador Retriever puppies. They're bred for great health, excellent temperament, and beautiful appearance. We work with genetically tested parents that are OFA certified for hip and elbow dysplasia. All puppies also come with a written guarantee. We look forward to connecting with you!

Q. & A. with Sherry

  • Why did you start breeding?

We have always loved the Labrador breed, so when our girls all left for college, we decided to dedicate our new found time and energy to breeding Lab puppies and sharing our love. It's been a joyful commitment, and it is a pleasure to live with, work with, and share with others these wonderful dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

We are a small breeder with only one or two litters a year. Our dogs are a part of the family and they all live in the house with us. We have all our dogs health tested for genetics and OFA hips and elbows. Our puppies are well socialized from birth with both adults and children and are whelped and raised inside the house in their own room. They also receive ample outside time to run and play! We are confident that each one will blossom to be a treasured family member.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
