I'm Paige A., the breeder behind Jensaw Farms & Australian Cattle Dogs located in Lafayette, TN. At Jensaw we believe in the Australian Cattle Dog bred for working purposes as they were originally developed for. We prioritize working ability, stability, health-testing, structure, and longevity.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have been an avid animal enthusiast my whole life. As a child, I grew up showing and training Quarter Horses. That turned into a breeding business, and I attended college, majoring in equine reproduction. Dogs were always a farm staple. We raised a few litters growing up, and I was an active member of the rescue world! Our love for ACD's flourished into our small breeding program today.

  • What makes your program special?

    I produce quality, stabile-minded, working Australian Cattle Dogs. It's important that they are an asset to every farm & family they join. We begin with a solid foundation in genetics & their time with us as puppies. My goal is to see owners' lives changed by the partnership, loyalty, and companionship of a great dog! My pups are set up for lifetime success!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blue speckled, red speckled, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Paige

Paige has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Paige partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

“Each puppy is observed as it grows. Our prioirty are working stockdogs. An initial evaluation on stock will be done at 7-8 weeks. Once we can see a stock introduction we will place puppies in appropriate homes. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,250 - $2,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“We try to keep our pricing simple. We set our pricing to be fair & considerate of the time and training that will need to be continually invested in the dog. A deposit if $250.00 is required to hold the puppy in a litter to apply to a puppy of best fit. Deposits are non-refundable. They can be credited to a future litter under qualifying circumstances.”

Paige may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
