I'm Andrea S., the breeder behind Swedenburg Schnauzers located in Elberfeld, IN. Our mini schnauzers are bred with their health in mind. We use embark to DNA test all of our dams and sires prior to adding them to our breeding program. We make sure that we are keeping the schnauzer lines free of any diseases with the help of embark.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up breeding dogs with my family and it has always been something that I love to do.
  • What makes your program special?

    My fur babies are #1 in our home and are treated like royalty. They are fed very well with nutrition in mind! All our Furbabies are 100% SPOILED!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Andrea

Andrea has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $2,250 - $2,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price will include AKC registration papers, Up to Date Vaccinations & Deworming, 1 year Health warranty, 1 week supply of current puppy food. Deposits are required to hold a puppy until they are 8 weeks of age. When you pick up your puppy the deposit will go towards the cost of the puppy and the remaining balance will be due at that time.”

Contract & health guarantee

Andrea may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
