I'm Ashley H., the breeder behind Weddington Labradoodles located in Matthews, NC. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! Our dogs are our companions in every adventure! We decided to start breeding as a way to help other families experience the love and companionship of an Australian Labradoodles.
Q. & A. with Ashley
Why did you start breeding?
I stumbled upon my mentor with Swinging Gate Labradoodles and took a leap of faith. Fell in love with the whole process that God placed before me and have soaked up every minute from that moment on. I have met some great families along the way and that makes this the best career path ever. Seeing the joy and happiness a puppy/dog can bring to a family is something that words just can’t describe.
What makes your program special?
We are an in home breeder where the puppies grow up right in our living room. Puppies are socialized from the time the open their eyes and are ready for interaction. We allow all new owners to pick which puppy they want to add to their family rather than “placing puppies” to their new homes. You come to our home and interact with all puppies to see who you bond with and love the most.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Australian Labradoodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Australian Labradoodle puppies include red, apricot, cream, chocolate, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
