I'm Kristen M., the breeder behind Whispering Meadows Performances Horses and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels located in Clintonville, WI. Our dogs are our beloved companions. We care deeply about this breed and are proud to be responsible cavalier King Charles Spaniel breeders. We treasure each puppy in our program and work hard so our puppies can leave our home with confidence, ready to take on the world with their new family!

  • What makes your program special?

    I strive to breed to the AKC standard and to improve the breed through testing and conformation. My dogs that are the foundation to my program have been selected for genetics and conformation which increases the chances for you to have a classic cavalier in appearance and a long term healthy cavalier.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim, tri-color, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kristen

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kristen partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and $2,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes AKC application, health guarantee, written receipt of monies and bill of sale, health record, micro chip, pedigree informational packet, copies of parents health certificates and pedigree. A $500 deposit is required at time of puppy pick. Both deposits come off price of puppy.”

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    What a great experience! Kristen was amazing throughout the process and answered questions in a very timely manner. She also sent pictures and video updates without us asking, which I loved! We were able to pick up our puppy in person and she gave us a tour of her home, introduced us to her other pups, where her love for Cavaliers was apparent. Kristin has awesome knowledge and protection for the breed, and I will definitely come back to Whispering Meadows when the time is right to get Stewie a playmate.     Kristen is extremely knowledgeable about the breed and clearly takes great care of her dogs and the puppies. Kristen was very responsive, answering our questions quickly and being accommodating of our requests. The pick-up went smoothly and our puppy has settled in beautifully with us. We truly couldn't be happier with our puppy! He is intelligent, eager to please, very trainable, and a great mix between playful and cuddly. He is also so darn sweet and cute! When we picked up our puppy, he was already nearly fully potty-trained and took to his crate immediately. In the six weeks that he's been with us, he has learned over a dozen tricks. We are so thankful to Kristen for the hard work and thoughtfulness that she's put into her program. Our experience with our puppy has blown all of our expectations out of the water. Kristen really went above and behind to prepare her puppies for their homes to facilitate a smooth transition, and we appreciate all of her efforts!
