I'm Paige A., the breeder behind Ayers Acres Corgis located in Red Boiling Springs, TN. I take pride in raising the best quality, health-tested corgis I can to better the breed and be a member of the family. I want to make the transition from our loving home to yours as seamless as possible by giving personal attention to each little pup to ensure it is well-rounded and prepared to excel in its forever home.
Q. & A. with Paige
Why did you start breeding?
I have been an avid animal enthusiast my whole life. As a child, I grew up showing and training Quarter Horses. That turned into a breeding business, and I attended college, majoring in equine reproduction. Dogs were always a farm staple. We raised a few litters growing up, and I was an active member of the rescue world! Our love for corgis flourished into our small breeding program today.
What makes your program special?
I produce quality, healthy, and great-minded Corgis. It's important that they are an asset to every family they join. We begin with a solid foundation in their time with us as puppies and provide continued breeder support for the life of the dog. My goal is to see owners' lives changed by the loyalty, love, and companionship of a great dog! My pups and owners are set up for lifetime success!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include fawn, red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Ayers Acres Corgis reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Australian Cattle Dogs.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
