I'm Teresa B., the breeder behind Empire Hills Cavaliers located in Clinton, SC. We offer top quality Cavaliers, beautiful and healthy! They are loving family pets and wonderful companions. As they grow we continue to bond with them, holding and playing with them, observing their personalities in order to perfectly match our puppy with its forever family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Breeding is something that I wanted to do for years! I have several friends that are professional breeders and it was always so much fun to visit them when they had puppies! Eventually, the time was right and my dream became reality!

  • What makes your program special?

    Our goal is to achieve the highest health standards for our Cavaliers in order to contribute to this beautiful breed's overall beauty and well being. My husband and I, as well as our extended family are so blessed to engage these precious puppies! They never lack for attention and are constantly monitored, held and loved.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and tan, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Teresa

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes paperwork for AKC registration, OFA certification, health certification from a veterinarian, first vaccinations, deworming, a 2 year health guarantee, and lots of love and care! All of our puppies are not always the same price. A deposit is non-refundable if you are unable to follow through with purchasing a puppy.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • GenSol Diagnostics DNA Testing

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I had a great experience with Teresa! She was very responsive and forthcoming about information about her pups. She shared additional pictures and vet records prior to purchase. It's very clear that Teresa invests a lot of time into socializing her litters with people and other dogs and exposing them to new things while they are young. This has made my puppy super resilient and curious about anything new in the environment. I couldn't be more thrilled with my little girl. The pick up process was very easy. My puppy is well on her way to being housebroken and is very social. Just two weeks in and she has great recall and she's doing well with our other dogs and cats. Highly recommend this breeder and her adorable pups! (Also, me wondering when to get my second cav from Teresa! LOL)
