Q. & A. with Tracie
Why did you start breeding?
I come from an animal-loving family and have lived on a farm my entire life. After purchasing my first Corgi, I fell in love with the breed. They are extremely intelligent, loyal, and beautiful. They have been a blessing for me and my family and I love sharing my love for the breed in a responsible way.
What makes your program special?
At Hilltop Corgis, all puppies are raised on the farm with special care, love, and attention. All of our liters are carefully planned, tested, AKC registered, and breed standard. We want to ensure the future of the breed and provide happy, healthy Corgis for loving families.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

My husband and I got our puppy (our first!) from Tracie and we couldn't be happier. He arrived in February at 9 months and has been just such a good boy.
Tracie was so helpful throughout the process, answering our questions and helping us coordinate the delivery of our little guy. He came to us housebroken and crate trained and has been just a joy. He's so loving, sweet, and excited to learn. It's clear that started with Tracie and her family.
We really couldn't have asked for a better experience. I couldn't recommend Hilltop Corgis more for those looking to add a corgi to their family.

Where do I begin?! What a WONDERFUL experience. My little Monica Elayne is thriving in her new home. From our first contact to the support Tracie gives throughout your dog’s life, you cannot do better. She is a beautiful little girl who is healthy and very well socialized. Even my VET commented about what a beautiful specimen of a corgi she is. And as an added bonus … I got little Moni at 8 weeks old and she has NEVER had an accident in the house … it seems unbelievable. These dogs have the quality and health standards of an experienced professional but they are raised in a family atmosphere. Monica and her brother Berto who we purchased later in the year are treasured family members. If I were to purchase a third (don’t tempt me!) I’d be calling Tracie! Thank you for giving me my family. I feel truly blessed.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
