Meet the breeder

I'm Tiffany P., the breeder behind Just A Little Cavalier located in Awendaw, SC. We breed for health first. All of our breeding parents are AKC registered, have completed all recommended OFA testing and have full genetic panels with Embark. We are doing our absolute best to improve the health of this breed. Every puppy we offer is well loved with a written health guarantee.

Q. & A. with Tiffany

  • Why did you start breeding?

Tiffany's parents bred Labradors when she was young. As a teen and young adult, she often volunteered at the local SPCA where she would assist with whelping and caring for litters in the shelter. She loved her days as a "doggy doula" and convinced her family to embark on a journey of breeding after they all fell in love with the CKCS, but were saddened by the health issues in the breed.
  • What makes your program special?

We do not compromise on health. While we enjoy producing show quality dogs, we won't sacrifice health in an attempt to create a dog that looks perfect. All of our Guardian families can attest to the rigorous testing and genetic evaluations each dog receives before breeding. We also take pride that each of our dogs is someone's cherished family pet. They live on couches, not in kennels.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and tan, tri-color, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
