I'm EJ S., the breeder behind Oconee Puppies located in Seneca, SC. We are family breeders who have been breeding puppies for many years. Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home and are a part of our family! We offer healthy, well socialized puppies with fantastic temperaments and are dedicated to helping our puppies find their forever homes!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have been around dogs and puppies my whole life. My dad got our first two family cavalier's when I was around 6 years old. We started breeding them a few years later and I spent much of my childhood around Cavalier and Cavapoo puppies. I got my first dog, a Portuguese Water Dog, when I was 18 and started breeder her a few years later. Millie, my Cavalier King Charles, joined my family a few years later.

  • What makes your program special?

    I treat my puppies as a part of the family from day one. They receive the most intensive care and love. They grow up around children so they are well socialized with kids. I am passionate about helping my puppies find the best homes! Many of our adopters are repeat customers or referrals, which I believe reflects well on how we raise and treat our puppies!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Cavapoo puppies include cream and brown. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim and ruby. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from EJ

EJ has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

EJ partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes the first round of vaccinations, deworming, AKC registration, and a health guarantee. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of gender and color. We do not require a deposit until the litter is born and you can pick out a specific puppy. You can be added to a waitlist at any time.”

Contract & health guarantee

EJ may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If EJ offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to EJ directly.
