Meet the breeder

I'm Wendy B., the breeder behind Puddlejumpers located in Walterboro, SC. Our pups are CKC registered. Raised in the home with dogs, cats, children and inside noises. We are in SC and welcome calls, video chats, home visits, etc. Willing to travel to meet. We can coordinate transportation with a pet transport for additional fee. We welcome any questions!

Q. & A. with Wendy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding when I started looking for a Maltichon in my area and had a very difficult time doing so. I decided to pursue the breed and offer pups to others in my area who wanted a non shedding dog that’s great with children and other dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

I do not allow my pups to breed more than 4 times per my vet recommendation. They are then spayed and retire! The females get a checkup before breeding and after 35 days they are pregnancy tested to confirm. At 52 days we have an X-ray to determine size, position and number of pups to expect. I’m present for the entire birth so if assistance is needed I’m there.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Cavapoo puppies are toy size. Poodle puppies are toy size. Companion Cross puppies are small size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Companion Cross puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies are tri-color. Cavapoo puppies are apricot. Maltese puppies are white. Poodle puppies are white. Companion Cross puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I had such a wonderful experience with Ms. Wendy during the process of buying my Toy Poodle! From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. It was clear she truly cares about her fur babies and puts a lot of love and attention into raising them. When I met her for the puppy pickup, she was so sweet and welcoming. We had a great time chatting about our dogs and even shared pictures of our fur babies! You can really tell she’s passionate about what she does. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, my Toy Poodle is healthy, happy, and absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend Ms. Wendy to anyone looking for a loving and trustworthy breeder.
