Meet the breeder

Q. & A. with Wendy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding when I started looking for a Maltichon in my area and had a very difficult time doing so. I decided to pursue the breed and offer pups to others in my area who wanted a non shedding dog that’s great with children and other dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

I do not allow my pups to breed more than 4 times per my vet recommendation. They are then spayed and retire! The females get a checkup before breeding and after 35 days they are pregnancy tested to confirm. At 52 days we have an X-ray to determine size, position and number of pups to expect. I’m present for the entire birth so if assistance is needed I’m there.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Poodle puppies are toy size. Cavapoo puppies are toy size. Companion Cross puppies are small size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Companion Cross puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies are tri-color. Poodle puppies are white. Cavapoo puppies are apricot. Companion Cross puppies are white. Maltese puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Working with Wendy was phenomenal. We purchased a toy poodle name Jack from Wendy. Jack is an amazing young puppy. Definitely full of energy and today he say a reflection of himself in the mirror and man oh man did he go into attack mode LoL. Wendy is the best at what she does.

Wendy was absolutely amazing! She walked me through this transaction and information with grace. She answered all of my questions and put me at ease that I would be ready for our pups. She went above and beyond with receiving all of the information and support that I needed to have my pups ready to come home. She also maintained information about the pups with me, and sent me videos and pictures of the pups since birth . I couldn't have asked for more! I definitely recommend to work with Wendy for your bundle of joys! Patricia Blanco 😊
