Returns & Exchanges

Our ultimate goal is to make sure you are happy. Our Good Dog community is founded on trust, transparency, and loyalty, and we know that by purchasing our products, you are placing your trust in us. We are committed to always striving to be worthy of that trust. We are so honored that you are a part of our Good Dog family, and we hope we can make you all proud to represent Good Dog and your fellow dog breeders and puppy buyers through each product you choose from our Store. 

We stand behind our merchandise, and are committed to ensuring that you are satisfied with the product. We handle returns on a case-by-case basis. There are no time limits for returns and returns are always free, but we do ask that your item be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase. Your receipt or proof of purchase helps us locate your order quickly, but don’t worry - if you don't have a receipt, we can probably find your order using other methods, but we may ask you to provide additional information. 

To start your free return, you can contact us at gooddogstore@gooddog.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. It is important to note that items sent back to us without first requesting a return and following the steps outlined above will not be accepted. 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. From time to time, we may not accept a return, and we will always let you know if your refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too - you can generally expect to see the funds in your account 5-10 business days after the refund is processed by us.

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at gooddogstore@gooddog.com if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can review the issue and work to make it right for you. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items 

Certain types of items cannot be returned or exchanged, like gift cards, perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please contact us at gooddogstore@gooddog.com if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Exchanges 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have by following the returns process outlined above, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
