Deposit overview
Many breeders require a deposit in order for you to claim a spot in their litter. A typical deposit range is $200-$500. Sometimes deposits are non-refundable.
Deposits help breeders know you’re serious about getting a puppy from them. Plus, your deposit helps ensure your breeder has the resources to do what matters most: care for the pups.
If your breeder requires a deposit, you’ll be able to chat with them and make sure you want to work together before you pay.
