Health guarantee requirements

Good Dog understands that, because each circumstance is different, each guarantee is different. We defer to the breeder to put together a guarantee that makes the most sense for their unique breeding program. That said, we strongly encourage buyers to only work with breeders they are comfortable with — this is a relationship that will last for the lifetime of the dog. Finding the right breeder for you helps ensure that you will have a positive experience with the process from start to finish.

Both you and your breeder should have a clear understanding of what you are committing to do and what your responsibilities are with respect to the dog’s health. If you are uncomfortable with something in the health guarantee, or feel hesitant about the terms, this may not be the right arrangement for you.
