What is Good Dog’s Refund Policy?
This policy outlines the refund process and guidelines for Good Dog buyers.
Understanding breeder refund policies
Before making any payment, we strongly recommend that Good Dog buyers:
- Request and review written documentation of their breeder's refund policy
- Confirm the specific conditions under which refunds would and would not be issued by their breeder
- Keep copies of all agreements made with their breeder
Important: At Good Dog, we honor breeders' documented policies and contracts, including those regarding refunds and non-refundable deposits. We strongly recommend reviewing all of your breeder's policy details in writing before exchanging any funds.
How refunds work
Once you make a payment through Good Dog, the funds are sent directly to your breeder.
Only your breeder can process refunds for payments made on our platform. You will receive a notification if your breeder processes a refund.
Please note that Good Dog cannot assist with refunds for any transactions that did not occur on our platform.

While we’re here to support you, direct communication with your breeder is often the quickest way to resolve an issue. As a first step, we recommend messaging your breeder on Good Dog to start a conversation about a desired refund.
