What is Good Dog?

What is Good Dog?
Good Dog is on a mission to build a better world for our dogs and the people who love them. We’re committed to educating dog owners so they understand why it’s so important to get a dog from a responsible source – and how to find one. We want to decrease dog abandonment in shelters and rescues and help owners raise healthier dogs. For this reason, it’s critical that we support and recognize responsible and ethical dog sources.

We know that it can be hard to know who to trust when you’re searching for a dog. We created Good Dog to change that. We review the reported practices of our breeder community against our community standards that promote dog welfare. Instead of connecting you with a puppy, we connect you with breeders who who have agreed to follow our standards and are ready to introduce you to your new best friend.
