On-Platform Payment Policy

By using Good Dog, you agree to abide by our terms and policies, including this On-Platform Payment Policy and our Terms of Service, which we reserve the right to enforce at our sole discretion. In the event of a violation, we may temporarily or permanently suspend or deactivate your account.

In order to protect our community and company, all deposit and dog payments between Good Breeders and Good Dog applicants must be made securely on Good Dog. Any such payments or dog placements that are made outside of Good Dog violate our terms. If anyone asks you to make or receive an off-platform deposit or dog payment, please let us know immediately by contacting help@gooddog.com.

In accordance with our policy, the following actions are not permitted for Good Dog applicants:

  • Requesting, making, or accepting deposits or dog payments off-platform
  • Refunding deposits or payments to make or receive payments off-platform

We encourage you to stay on-platform to ensure the safety and security of all payments, however the following actions are permitted, providing that, in each case, any and all deposit and dog payments are made securely on Good Dog:

  • Requesting, making, and accepting other payments that are not deposit or dog payments off-platform (e.g., payments for puppy transportation)

Buyers can choose to pay without any required fees.
