I'm Taryn B., the breeder behind Sunshine Pups located in Phoenix, AZ. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families!
Q. & A. with Taryn
Why did you start breeding?
Our family has always loved dogs, and we want to be able to share that with other people by breeding healthy, quality companions!
What makes your program special?
We do small-batch litters of one per year to be able to socially raise our pups with our family of young children. We also enjoy standard-sized doodles because they hold up well in families with kids and because of their versatility with those who enjoy the outdoors, much like our own family! You can buy a dog from a shelter or rescue and not know the history of that animal, but you can rest assured that our dogs will always be well-loved and properly socialized to be able to join any loving owner.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brown and white, black and white, tri-color, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Full Embark Panel, DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
