How to set up your payout method
When you collect payments on Good Dog, you can choose to receive payments via one of the following methods.Below are the typical transfer times associated with each available payout method:
- Direct deposit to debit card or checking account: 1 business day
- Paypal transfer: 24 hours
- Check by mail: 5-14 business days
We refer to these options as payout methods. You’ll need to set up a payout method in order to collect payments on Good Dog.
To set up or edit your payout method, follow the steps below:
- From your Good Dog Dashboard, click on your program name/profile photo in the bottom-left corner of the screen
- Click Settings from the pop-up menu
- Click Payment Settings, on the left side of the screen
- Click Set up new payout -> and follow the onscreen prompts
How long does it take for the money to get to me?
All Good Dog buyers are required to pay deposits and final puppy payments securely on Good Dog in line with Good Dog’s On-Platform Payment Policy.
Once a buyer completes a payment request, you'll receive an email confirmation of this and funds are immediately transferred to your payout method of choice (bank account, debit card, PayPal, or mailed check).
Every payment you accept on Good Dog is 100% backed by us, and we guarantee that you always receive the funds you are due (and never experience a cancellation or chargeback.
NOTE: Payments made by the buyer but not yet accepted by you, can be found under the Pending tab in the payments section of your Good Dog Dashboard. Once you accept, your payment will move to the Completed tab.
