We’re committed to making Good Dog the safest, most secure way to place your puppies.
All payments on Good Dog are protected by our Breeder Payment Protection Policy. That means if something goes wrong during or after accepting payments from puppy buyers on Good Dog, we’ll always be here to have your back.
Our commitment to protection
Our secure community was created to give you the peace of mind you deserve so you can focus on what matters – finding the right homes for your puppies. Our Good Dog Breeder Protection Policy protects you in the unlikely event that an issue arises related to a payment you’ve received from a puppy buyer on Good Dog. We’ll protect you from things like fraudulent chargebacks and canceled payments. You’ll also get instant payment verification, full, guaranteed payment protection, and a written invoice of the payment for you and the Good Dog buyer. Plus, every payment you accept on Good Dog helps support our mission to build a better world for our dogs and the people who love them.
How do I get protection?
Every payment made to you on Good Dog is one hundred percent guaranteed by us.
What’s protected?
In the unlikely event that an issue arises with a Good Dog buyer who has paid you on Good Dog, our dedicated team of experts will be here to help make it right. We’ll provide you with full payment protection and we’ll work tirelessly with you and the buyer to provide support, expertise, and help to resolve disputes. We will do everything we can to help resolve the situation to your satisfaction and make sure your payment is protected.
Every situation is unique, so our team works personally with any Good Breeder who has an issue to try and ensure they ultimately have a great experience using Good Dog to place their puppies in forever homes.
Here’s an example of what’s protected:
- Full payment protection in the unlikely event that a buyer pays for their pup on Good Dog and then requests a fraudulent chargeback or payment cancelation in violation of the terms of their agreement with a Good Breeder
What’s not protected?
Our Breeder Payment Protection Policy only applies to payments collected on Good Dog. Payment collected via any other mediums (e.g., Zelle, Venmo, Facebook Pay, PayPal, Cash App, etc.) are not eligible to receive the protection Good Dog provides. Good Dog’s Breeder Protection Policy also only applies to what was agreed to between a Good Breeder and a Good Dog buyer and does not extend beyond the explicit terms of that agreement.
NOTE: All deposit and dog payments between Good Breeders and Good Dog applicants must be made securely on Good Dog in line with our On-Platform Payment Policy.
As you know, every breeder has their own payment policies and contractual terms that govern agreements with buyers. It’s important to use a contract with buyers so there’s a record of what was agreed to.
