I'm Carlotta G., the breeder behind A Golden to Love located in Morgan Hill, CA. I'm a small breeder in Morgan Hill. My pups are handled from birth and introduced to every possible environment, sight, and sound. I am passionate about breeding Golden Retrievers who are well-rounded and ready to be a loving, trainable, and healthy addition to their new forever home. I want all of my dogs to go to loving homes where they will be given the life they deserve. The parents both have their OFA certifications.

Why did you start breeding?
Everyone commented on how handsome my male was and wondered if I bred him. After a lot of research, I had him tested. I saw how many breeders weren't health testing and knew I wanted to do things the correct way.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are held from the start and live in our home from birth. They are introduced to every possible environment, sight, and sound.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
