Meet the breeder

I'm Alejandro G., the breeder behind Alejandro Gonz's Chinese Shar-Pei and Lakeland Terriers located in Fairfield, TX. We're committed to raising well-rounded puppies who can excel in any venue with their new families. We have outstanding dogs with wonderful temperaments that thrive in the ring as well as companions. Our goal is to produce Chinese SharPei with exceptional temperaments and live a nice long healthy life. We dont do the typical sell puppies for dollars like many seem to do. We encourage you to research the breed and ask us questions. No one knows more about a Shar Pei than a reputable breeder that is passionate about this breed. We only approve people who have spoke to us on the phone first. Thats the initial interview. If we cant speak to you personally we are not the breeders for you. While we try to respond to every inquiry we also encourage that you call the phone listed in the ad and the price is there as well. Thanks for looking at our page.

Q. & A. with Alejandro

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding after having finished a few AKC Champions of record and having fulfilled the health test requirements by the Parent Club and with the help of our dear friend and mentor in the breed. Over time I studied numerous pedigrees and realized the breeders responsibilities didn't end when a puppy was placed in a new home. Many years of education and realizing I was ready to be responsible for every dog I produced.
  • What makes your program special?

Puppy Culture, Passion, True Dedication, integrity! When people are looking for a GOOD Shar Pei they either look for us or they already know where to find us… The proof is in the pudding! Theres no need to fluff our own program.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
